About Fuchu

Fuchu is a city of about 260,000 people, located very near to the geographic center of Tokyo,Japan’s capital. It has a fully developed transportation network that connects it to cities in Japan and around the world.In ancient times, the government of a province called Musashi was set up here. The city boasts a long history of ancient traditions developed as the center of the province’s politics, commerce, and culture. Although it is near the heart of Tokyo, Fuchu is also blessed with an environment of abundant water and greenery, including Zelkova trees at Baba Daimon, which are a designated national natural heritage, as well as the Tama River.
